Wilmington, NC – April 17, 2008— Artist/Designer Kate McRostie will be introducing over seventy-five new designs available for license at the Surtex 2008 show held in New York City, May 18-20th, in Hall 1E, Booth 2236. In addition to gift and home décor opportunities, Kate McRostie DesignWorks, Inc. will be seeking licensees for home furnishings such as rugs, furniture, bedding, wallpaper and fabrics.
Kate will be launching several new coastal collections including “Mermaid’s Hideaway,” a magical collection with eye-catching, underwater colors and “By the Bay” a collection of shore birds created with a palette of calm colors. McRostie will also be showing an inspirational collection highlighting her trademark patterns and scrolls as well as “green” art for the eco-friendly customer. Delightful new holiday and everyday designs will also be on display. “I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Europe several times this year and gain new ideas; and, of course, living in coastal North Carolina is always a constant source of inspiration. I’m excited to share my new artwork with current licensees as well as introducing them to potential clients!”
