Wilmington, NC – November 19, 2007—Kate McRostie DesignWorks, Inc. announced today that C&F/Gallerie II, Downeast Concept’s Cape Shore, and Jackel International will all be launching new product collections featuring the licensed painted designs of Kate McRostie at the January 2008 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
C&F Enterprises along with Gallerie II adds two new McRostie gift and home décor collections to their showroom. “Butterfly Garden”, features whimsical butterflies fluttering through delicate floral branches and is available on products such as needlepoint coasters and pillows, hooked rugs, and reverse painted glass ornaments. “Seaside” is a collection of shells and seahorses intertwined with coral. These designs are featured on products such as hooked rugs, pillows, needlepoint coasters, kitchen towels, guest towels, wooden accessories, wall signs, candleholders, glass trays and other home décor items. . These collections add to several other McRostie collections currently offered by C&F and Gallerie II. McRostie will participate in an Artist Signing to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new C&F Enterprises and Gallerie II Showroom on Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm in AmericasMart 1435.
Downeast Concept’s Cape Shore will introduce two major new collections featuring McRostie’s designs. “Seahorse Sanctuary” and “Stories of the Sea”. Both designs are included on dozens of beautiful gift and bath products. “Seahorse Sanctuary” features the same whimsical seahorses licensed by C&F and Gallerie II. The “Stories of the Sea” collection features a tranquil oceanfront window ledge that evokes memories of relaxing days at the beach. In addition, designs featuring lilacs, hummingbirds, and cardinals painted by McRostie will also make their debut on Cape Shore products.
Jackel International will introduce “Market Day”, a collection of hand-painted candle accessories featuring McRostie’s fresh picked corn, peppers, tomatoes and carrots designs.
Certified International, CounterArt, Kay Dee Designs, and several other manufacturers will also be launching new products featuring McRostie’s artwork in Atlanta.
