Wilmington, NC – March 19, 2009 – Artist/Designer Kate McRostie has announced that she will be launching her “Country Chic” and “La Vie de Boheme” collections along with over 50 other new hand painted designs available for license at the Surtex 2009 show held in New York City, May 17-19th, in Booth 532.
“Country Chic” is a sophisticated rendition of classic barnyard icons enhanced with McRostie’s signature scrollwork. “La Vie de Boheme” is an artsy nod to gypsy life with jewel toned birds and florals. In addition, McRostie will introduce new coastal, everyday, and holiday collections.
“I’m always looking for new inspiration when it comes to Art & Design; interpreting what I see as upcoming trends into my artwork – yet without being too trendy,” said McRostie. “I like to think of my designs as being ‘trenditional’, – having a broad appeal to consumer.”
